With the sun shining, what could be better than messing about with boats on Melton’s beautiful rivers?

And so today’s work party took full advantage of the lovely weather but rather than relaxing (which was very tempting), got stuck into some serious work in preparation for the new boating season.ge

Farewell to the boating season

The recent heavy rain has meant the river has risen and a strong current so it’s not been possible to operate the rowing boats these last few weekends. The time has therefore come to take them out of the water and store them for the winter.
